Het raamwerk bestaat uit een celstructuur, die verwant is aan die van het menselijk lichaam, en patronen die in de natuur voorkomen. Het is handgemaakt, en een unica. Het kunstwerk bestaat uit meerdere delen, en kan als een akoestische werk hangend of vrijstaand aangepast worden.
Biofilie is de ‘liefde voor het leven of levende systemen’. Het is onze inherente menselijke band met de natuur. In onze verstedelijkte wereld vol technologie en industriële architectuur voelt het soms alsof deze cruciale band praktisch verloren is gegaan. Door bewust natuurlijke elementen te gebruiken in interieur- of bouwkundig design, maken we onbewust opnieuw verbinding met de natuur. Zo brengen we de buitenwereld naar onze gebouwde wereld.

The framework consists of a cell structure related to that of the human body and patterns found in nature. It is handmade and a unique piece. The artwork consists of multiple parts and can be adapted to be suspended or freestanding as an acoustic work.
Biophilia is the ‘love of life or living systems’. It is our inherent human bond with nature. In our urbanized world full of technology and industrial architecture, it sometimes feels as if this crucial bond has practically been lost. Our approach needs to be ecological and more responsible. Biophilic design is an innovative way to harness that connection to create natural living, working, and learning environments. By consciously using natural elements in interior or architectural design, we unconsciously reconnect with nature. In this way, we bring the outside world into our built world.
